I actually enjoyed this comic WAY more than I thought I would. It was inclusive, hilarious, and just downright fun. The first half of this comic was more of a 3.5 stars, but by the second half this story was definitely a solid 4-4.5. There were so many awesome things happening in here that I don’t even know what to praise first. I guess I’ll start by saying that I loved that the female element was included in this story without being *keyword* demeaning. Every single character in this story was a fun blessing, and I adored them all. Humphries develops each one well giving individual personalities to all. Accompanied by Gaylord’s artwork, these characters really shone bright.

And, as they did, I enjoyed so much reading their story about how they survived the Comic Con Zombie apocalypse. I found myself smiling and laughing and eating this comic right up. The vibrant art paired with the interesting and alluring storyline made this a quick read that I couldn’t put down. This story has a bit of everything from laugh out loud moments to suspenseful situations and even a few more endearing ones.

Full of laughs and heart, these characters stole my heart (or maybe ate my heart?) making this an awesome start to a series that I can’t wait to read more of. I highly recommend this one! I just ordered the next 3 volumes in this series, so I’m full-on invested.
