Since I read this for school, I analyzed it more closely than I normally would. BUT I still won't make a detailed review, so if that's what you're looking for, I bid you farewell.

ANYWAY,
This book definitely brings up some interesting topics. Mostly though, it brings up your permission to choose what you want in life. Really, choice should be a given and not controlled like in this book. And that's exactly what this book brings up. I just found Jona's journey through his choices interesting. I read something at the beginning of the book from the author. It was about how it impacted so many people but a lot of people were not fans and I find myself laughing at this one part that says "Jesus would be ashamed of you!". This was written in an e-mail to the author and I really don't understand this. What the author should be ashamed of in the book, I do not understand. It was amazing to me and just enjoyable. After my last assigned reading, I'm glad I got one that I actually wanted because this was just amazing, to me.
