As a Minecraft enjoyer, I enjoyed this novel. It felt good to go into a book with an understanding of the world mechanics. I kept nodding along as he discovered how to craft and how things worked. It was a bit too childish, in my opinion, which I get, it's a child's book. But I've read loads of kids books that were more mature than this. I think they forget that plenty of adults enjoy Minecraft, too.
