Overstrike: Volume I of the Fixpoint Trilogy by C.M. Angus

4.0

This is my first book by CM Angus and I'm always open to discover new-to-me authors, and expand the genre of books I read.

This is a sci-fi, a genre that I'm always fascinated about, and this book had quite an interesting plot full of wow moments, thanks to the twists and turns.

Time traveling is a concept I have been curious about since I first saw Back to the Future, and then read and watched stories related to the subject. It's something so interesting and very futurist most of the time, but it's a concept that we all recognize, so I was interested in knowing how the author took it.

The characters were well created and following them on this unexpected and unusual adventure was very entertaining. I was definitely surprised and I'm not giving out much information just in case, because no spoilers in this review (EVER).

Knowing this is just the start of the series makes me happy because it was a very good beginning that left me with just enough questions, but a lot of answers as well. All the information that is given to us keeps peaking our attention.

Overall, I enjoyed the book a lot and I can't wait for the next ones in the series.

[I want to thank Rachel, at Rachel’s Random Resources, and CM Angus for the eCopy of this book and for allowing me to join in the fun and being a part of the blog tour with my honest review of the book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.]
