Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson

4.0

Fear and Loathing is essentially the template for the grimy, hedonistic west coast novels of the 70s-early 2000s. It was an enjoyable read and a whacky pointless road-trip story that I’m glad I read but probably won’t think much about in the future.
