I was compelled and interested in Corrine and Reece's relationship from the start. I enjoyed the dual timelines aspect and how the flashback chapters related to/were parallel to the present day chapters. The spice was hot, though for me, third person pov never hits as hard as first person pov.
I think where I was left wanting more was in the descriptions. Everything felt super under described, including the MCs and I just had so little to picture. I needed more detail.
I also am not a huge fan of the last line of the book being when things are settled. ...And then there's no epilogue. That's not super emotionally fulfill to me and I much more prefer to enjoy at lease SOME of the HEA with the characters.
