Peau de pêche by Jodi Lynn Anderson

this was a fun read for the summer, but not a super duper legendary one. i did really like the girls' friendship and wished to be in the lake swimming with them, or just to be able to walk in the peach trees! the environment descriptions did give nice imagery without being too long. also i would have had a major crush on enrico too hehe and i loved birdie!!!
one thing that i didn't like was when the author refers to the mexicans in the story sometimes in a weird way, like how leeda avoided them (such as enrico in a scene) because she couldn't stand being around people who didn't speak english (whereas he did speak it, just not perfectly...), or when the girl with enrico was refered as "une fille de type mexicain" (a girl of mexican type) idk maybe i'm overreacting but the wording of that bothers me a little bit like "type"??
