Batman #24 by Seth Mann, Tom King, Clay Mann, Jordie Bellaire, Danny Miki, David Finch

5.0

It May not be truly a 5 star book , but Screw you ! I LOVED THIS .

So basically the book features Batman and a healthy again Gotham Girl talking , talking about happiness , why Batman does what he does , is Batman happy? , Does Batman deserves happiness ? and it all culminates in a stunning last page , that I won't give much away (that is if you haven't already seen the countless spoiler images doing the round on internet) but it's something that every Batman fan had wanted to see happen for a long long time ever since they started reading Batman .

Their is a philosophical interchange between Batman and Gotham girl that really continues in the same vein as the previous The Brave and the Mold storyline and it really showcases Tom King's strength in writing such stories . The art is nothing to brag about but certainly the last panel was beautiful .

Also , was it just me or did someone notice that the history remembered by Batman and Selina are different as per the penultimate panel in this book . Something to do with Watchmen maybe? We'll find out soon enough I guess.

Also Also I just know Tom King is going to ruin this in a brutal heart breaking manner . 😭 Either way Highly recommended for all Batman fans out there
