This was a juicy blend of suspense and romance. With shifting points of view and engaging writing style, it was a perfect combination of salty and sweet brain candy. The pace was nice, building slowly and drawing me in without being overwhelming. The fluid narrative made visualization easy. While some dialogue and inner monologues felt slightly dated, it didn’t diminish my overall enjoyment. Suspenseful plot twists blended with romantic moments and kept me guessing until the end. Some moments made me blush on the plane, hopeful no one was reading over my shoulder. This is the perfect book to unwind with, a delightful escape if you enjoy a thrilling and satisfying read. If you want to decompress or indulge in some guilty pleasure reading, this book will do it!
