I loved this friends to more read contrary to how long it took me to read. I am definitely a slower paper reader especially since I save them for reading outside in the sun on my weekends.

I loved every little thing about having this as a paper copy though the fact that it is dated as printed on my birthday, from the hockey skates on each chapter, the text bubbles, and the headers for the radio show.

Now onto the characters I loved from the Langfield brothers and family, from Lennox and Sara's strong female friendship, to the rest of the teams antics. I mean come on Aiden's songs and raps for the team before each game. The amount of time they all made me laugh. The swear jar they had for cussing around the kids. I will keep reading this series for the way these characters kept me smiling alone.

I would marry Brooks
but I do wish he was more submissive
, and I loved that he felt no shame or took no shit for his feelings or choices. I loved the way his friendship with Sara was first, he heard her, and let her take the pace with the speed. <Spoiler> The one thing that did drive me crazy was the team razzing him on still being a virgin. Age shouldn't matter if you want it to mean something or if you're demi-ace. I would've smacked them with their own sticks! </Spoiler>

I adored Sara's love for her brother and the way she joked with the rest of the team. Her antics with her friends. I also loved her love for Dawson's Creek a throwback that made me feel happy.

Although not all the spice was for me, and that is not on the fault of the author or the character, I will never yuck someone's yum. The confessions were everything and more, along with
no third act break up
. This book will definitely be one I will reread when I need a laugh and it reaffirms that hockey romances are for me with the found family feel. I will go back to the others and read the next.
