If you are looking for a cozy and lighthearted christmassy read, this is probably not it. If, however, you want to read about real and often hard experiences of people from various different backgrounds and walks of life during the festive period, than this is more your speed. Some of the stories were definitely more challenging than others, so I would recommend baring that in mind, but I thought it was definitely worth a read. I would especially recommend the stories written by Non Pratt, Kevin Brooks, Juno Dawson, Katie Cannon and Cat Clarke.
