“Maybe, he thinks, everyone’s wrapper is small. Maybe we all have doors inside leading to cracked places and wild spaces.”

It’s a slow start, but the build-up is beautiful.

Gorgeous writing, the foreshadowing was perfection, and my heart broke for Teach because even though I saw it coming, it devastated me anyways. 

If there’s anything one can take from this it’s that family can giveth but family can always taketh away.
