As someone who is a certified Storm fanatic, this origin/coming of age story was not the greatest. There’s some obvious gross sexism that I mostly tried to dismiss as just the norm for its time but there are some places where it’s hard to ignore. 

Other than that, while we got some great backstory in the first 2 issues, it mostly focuses on Ororo and T'Challa's young romance. That makes sense since this mini series is the prelude to their wedding, but I still would have loved to get to know more of Ororo outside of her romance with T'Challa. Also, I think Eric Jerome Dickey is an incredible writer but...maybe comics just aren't his ministry.
