Selling Hope by Kristin O'Donnell Tubb

Lovely story about a young woman traveling with the Vaudeville circus in the early 1900s. She longs to leave the life of a traveling performer but finds solace with an unlikely woman and a young Buster Keaton. When news of Hailey's Comet causes uncertainty, worldwide doomsday predictions and desperation, she thinks she's found a way to get out of the circus for good, but does she want to after all?
It's a lovely story, constantly moving forward and not at all dull. Just a delightful narrative that is a great, casual read.
