if i could give this 6 stars i would. hands down my favorite book of the year so far ! “invested” cannot even begin to comprehend what i felt during the time i was reading it. this is one of those books that leaves you with a core memory of reading it the first time.

i loved the piranesi’s character so much, his attitude towards those circumstances really reflects his perception of the house. as said by piranesi himself: “The Beauty of the House is immeasurable; its Kindness infinite.” i hope everyone’s houses are the same
