Some of Tim's Stories by S.E. Hinton

2.0

The short stories themselves are absolute garbage (even weirdly transphobic for one of them) with a needlessly confusing frame narrative and incomplete ending. That being said, I quite enjoyed the interviews on the second half. They gave a pretty good behind-the-scene look into S.E. Hinton's oeuvre, including her biographical background and thought process behind each novel's formation. There's even a sense of poignant finality to them, as if this might just be the last book she'll ever write.
