The Artist's Guide to Grant Writing: How to Find Funds and Write Foolproof Proposals for the Visual, Literary, and Performing Artist by Gigi Rosenberg

5.0

I came across this book in a library search to learn more about grant writing. This book is so much more than a grant writing guide - it shares thoughts on self-promotion, insight on how to apply for fellowships, residencies, and essentially any opportunity an artist will be submitting work to. It’s also a very inspiring read and discusses fear of failure and fundraising/sponsorship ideas. Not only is this book incredibly useful, it’s also entertaining and engaging (not at all like the other grant guides I’ve familiarized myself with). An absolute must-read for any artist.
