I am absolutely astonished by this book, jaw dropping and all. With the recurring theme of how beauty is terror, I’m in love with how beautiful The Secret History is, but alongside that I am utterly terrified over how incredible this read is.

Usually tiktok is very good at making books sound a lot better than they actually are when you read them. But this?

This book has turned me into a changed woman. It’s so beautifully done and they weren’t kidding when people would say that you won’t be able to find anything else that would give you the same reaction.

I am now scared for myself, because now that this is a 5 star read (Definitely WAY more than 5 stars), I feel like everything else that I’ve read is bumped down a star or two. I’m also dreadfully terrified that there would no longer be another book like this.

Please. Read this. It’s life changing.
