Knowledge of Angels by Jill Paton Walsh

3.0

I ordered Knowledge of Angels because it tackled feral children - a subject which fascinates me. As such the idea is good: an island in the medieval age is discovered by a priest and finds out that there is a feral child living on the island, which he adopts. He then tries to convert her to Christianity, constantly puzzling whether it is possible.

This is a philosophical novel and it explores the themes well, unfortunately it is not consistent and there are dull bits, still a good read though.
