The Algebra of Infinite Justice by Arundhati Roy

4.0

Arundhati Roy is one of my all time favorite authors and this is the first time I’ve read a collection of her nonfiction work. I think she did an extraordinary job explaining complex mechanisms of globalization, fascism, nationalism, industrialization, displacement - all with wry, unexpected metaphors and unrestrained infuriation. I learned a lot about dams and power plants, which I am excited to apply in my local organizing for energy democracy and a just transition. I have no reservations about recommending the book.
