Private Eyes by Jonathan Kellerman

3.0

I think it’s starting to materialise in my head that I’m continuing to read the Alex Delaware series mostly only for the good prose, and not too much for the plot itself. The plots are getting really outlandish as the series progresses.

This instalment is about Alex reconnecting with an old rich client and is drawn into a supposed non event which obviously bubbles out into something completely unbelievable in the end.

I did enjoy reading the prose, the laborious descriptions of everything, and the therapy sessions between Alex and Melissa.

Other than that, I don’t have much to talk about this one. If it’s a good plot you’re looking for, you should probably skip this book and the series.
