How a bunch of superheroes deal with living in what is essentially the apocalypse would normally be really really interesting to me. But somehow that story never really plays out. Marvel's at it's best when it's being hopeful instead of grim like this story is. And the ways in which it all plays out gets convoluted and focussed on mostly Wolverine pretty fast.

The side stories to this event are a lot more interesting. I don't know the background a lot of them so some of them just left me feeling confused and a bit bored. There is a Black Widow story in there that I really LOVE though.
