The Volunteer: The True Story of the Resistance Hero who Infiltrated Auschwitz by Jack Fairweather

5.0

I've read so many stories about the enormous courage, self sacrifice, and survival of the people of the Holocaust and WWII. This is a rediscovered story of remarkable courage of a hero who infiltrated the most notorious of the concentration camps. The story of Witold is important as it reveals new information about how Auschwitz came into being, and confronts how we respond to evil in our own time.
