The High Lord by Trudi Canavan

I am not sure if I even want to talk much about this book, it was very mediocre. The first 200/250 pages nothing happened which is maybe the reason why it took me a week to get through. The latter half was more action packed, slightly better and also I spend the whole day reading yesterday, so reading the second part only took me two days. I was very much bored reading the parts from Cery's or Dannyl's point of view, Sonea's was interesting but literally nothing happened. I can't get over the romance plot between Akkarin and Sonea, it feels very icky. He's literally known her since she was like 15 and he's 13 years older than her. No, thank you. And how do you make me believe it's true love and better than everyone before, when they've been together for like a week or two? Also, how do they find the time to do "it" and feel like it's the right time to do so, when they are literally on the run and chased by the villains. I don't get it how she managed to get pregnant, it feels so weird. Otherwise, it was readable and at times enjoyable so not so bad.
