The last couple of short stories were rather dark with a lot of death and sadness, so it was nice to see one that was a bit lighter and more funny as well. It is Halloween and Fran, Alice and her babysitter are trick-and-treating. That is, until Alice is snatched by yet-another snake cult. However, things are not going exactly as planned for said snake cultists.

This was real fun. There was some stress about Alice being kidnapped of course, but knowing that she is Verity's grandmother and still has a Covenant boy 'to turn to the Dark side' was reassuring during this part. The mice are great as they always are, but also really come in to save the day. I would certainly recommend this story.
