Dengeki Daisy, Vol. 16, Volume 16 by Kyousuke Motomi

4.0

This is a pretty good series all in all. I like the found family aspect, and the espionage mystery/thriller. And... I'm also a fan of the romance aspect. I'm not saying it's perfect, there are some pretty serious issues (he's 24 and she's 16, he's keeping some serious secrets from her for at least half the story, and the text acknowledging it doesn't necessarily make it better), but the trope of "the bad boy who's secretly soft, especially for one (1) good girl, and who destroy his enemies with military precision unless and until they go after one (1) good girl which triggers the berserk button" works for me in a way that I can't really explain. The trope can have some bad implication, but it still makes my heart go doki-doki.
