To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

3.0

Wonderful characters that are very quickly and successfully described and established for the role they play in the story. Totally in love with Scout (isn’t everyone?) and of course Atticus. Within the story - the trial itself was the most gripping part and I couldn’t put it down during it, but the story either side often felt a bit slow for me. Not sure of the significance of some bits and characters but it’s very possible it just went over my head! Had a tear run down my cheek on a few occasions; overall very happy to have read it.
