A middle school boy in the middle of nowhere North Dakota. A secret Agency, a boy he needs to protect. It’s the basis of every kids mystery novel ever, and it could have been great or it could have been terrible. Instead it was just meh. There were definitely a few funny parts, and there was an emphasis on idioms but overall I felt like this book just didn’t quite hit the mark.
