This is a classic jumprope song as well. Students like the singing and it is easy for them to repeat once they hear the pattern. Mary and the elephant enjoy their time together jumping fences, drinking tea and being friends. The Illustrations tell the story as well, with a little turn on the elephants keeper that is very cute.
