i’m curious to see where this story goes but from this first issue i do find the writing quite stilted and it’s commentary on class and inequality basic and surface level. the art is just stunning though so i will probably check out the next issue to first give the story another chance and additionally to see more of that incredible artwork. i also appreciate how it seems alfred and gordon will be a big focus they were the story beats i enjoyed most from this issue
