Where to Eat Pizza by Daniel Young

4.0

Like Where Bartender’s Drink, this was a fun, informative little tome packed full of cool locations to try some interesting pizza wherever in the world you happen to be. As they say, even bad pizza is still pretty good, so having this comprehensive compilation of places that serve good slices, from authenticated Naples style pizzas to greasy, comfortable American adaptations like the square pizzas of Detroit, cuts down on the endless options.

Like Bartenders, Where to Eat Pizza steps it up a little bit with some good in depth information on pizza history and styles across the globe, including ingredients and pizza evolution, aside from just the list of pizza suggestions and addresses. There is a surprising amount of pizza places listed for the Twin Cities I haven’t tried yet, and I feel this would be a very fun resource for any trip.
