For a random "I-feel-like-reading-sci-fi" grab from the returns at work, book was pretty okay. Great action, very neat technology, tactics, concepts, very very mild characterisation, but if you're reading this book for the characters you're sort of missing the point.

I enjoyed it anyway, will definitely try the others in the series for my sci-fi action fix.
