Flicker by Melanie Hooyenga
4.0
I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED A COPY FROM THE RACHEL E. CARTER YA BOOK CLUB ON GOODREADS.
I really enjoyed this book. I felt slightly disconnected for the first few chapters, but after that I didn't want to stop reading. I've already purchased the other two books in this trilogy too, and look forward to reading them.
I was intrigued by the story, the way Biz could Flicker (time travel) was a different read. I didn't really feel much of a connection between her and Cameron. Supposedly they're super close, but she knows nothing about his home life, suddenly starts ogling his muscles and they spend a lot of time avoiding each other. Hopefully they're relationship will develop more in the next book. I also guessed what was going on with her Dad, but still found it interesting the way they connect more than Biz and her Mum seem to.
A solid, enjoyable read.
