Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

2.0

The author says he got the idea for this book at a museum while taking an audio tour. He was interested by the idea of a voice in his ear describing exactly what he was looking at, and it is an interesting idea. I just think he should have chosen a different subject or at least made it less vengeful. It made Hannah's story less sympathetic. At least for me.

I also had to listen to the audiobook as the italics or lack thereof was a different person speaking. Might have worked if it weren't switching every other sentence/paragraph. Made it difficult reading for me.
