Naomi (2019-) #2 by Brian Michael Bendis, David F. Walker, Jamal Campbell

emotional mysterious slow-paced

3.5

I'm not going to lie. This one wasn't as good as the first issue.

The second issue of Naomi was a little lackluster because not a lot happens. Readers get to know a little about Naomi's adoptive parents. Outside of that, we're pretty much left with another cliffhanger. I think that the relationship between Naomi and her adoptive parents is pretty interesting. It's clear that they know more than they are letting on, but outside of that not much occurs. The artwork is still stunning and I'm hoping that more is revealed in issue #3.
