I was looking for something lighthearted and easy to read, which I found in this book. It was also very fun and refreshing to find a sapphic book amongst mlm books in LGBTQ+ literature, however...
The pacing was so weird, the writing reminds me of Wattpad, and the characterization is... lackluster. A lot of other reviewers have explained further on the issues and I won't repeat them as I can't word it better anyway, but generally, that. It wasn't bad per se, it just leaves a lot to wish for.
Moreover, the ending was very abrupt, and, idk.For a love interest that has a mother that wanted her to 'get rid of the gay phase', I didn't see any protest of her kissing another girl in public. Yes, I am asking for a political thing in a lighthearted book, I know, but we're talking about royals here.
