Robert B. Parker's Old Black Magic by Ace Atkins

3.0

This is the first Spenser book that I’ve read by an author other than Robert Parker. All in all it wasn’t bad — Atkins did an excellent job continuing the sass and witty banter that Spenser fans know and love. My biggest issue with this book was that there were SO many characters and it was hard to keep them all straight and remember how Spenser knew each one. It felt unnecessarily convoluted.
