Spectral Realms No. 11 by G. Sutton Breiding, Donald Sidney-Fryer

5.0

Spectral Realms has been a very strong poetry journal from its first issue, and I'm impressed that now in the fifth year of publication this latest issue is as good as ever. Although there are many wonderful verses in these pages, the standout for me was Oliver Smith's "The Fairiest", a haunting poem about the fair folk. I also very much enjoyed the final installment of Marcos Legaria's essay on Robert Nelson, a minor (but fascinating) young poet of the classic Weird Tales era.
