The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzi Lee

4.0

I think that I enjoyed this book even more than the first one. Felicity was my favorite character, and I did prefer reading from her perspective than Monty’s because I found her to be less annoying. She was very funny and determined, and watching her grow mor sure of herself was very interesting. I’m a little disappointed in the choice that she makes in the end, but overall it was not a bad ending. The story definitely went in a direction that I was not expecting at all. It added a fantastical, made up element to what was otherwise a believable historical fiction, and it was a bit hard to take seriously after that was added.
