The Woods All Black has a lot to unpack in one book.  The first time I've seen trans identity expressed in Appalachia.  Well done expressing intolerance of small town folk.  Very dangerous.  I enjoyed the female empowerment angle and the horrific revenge aspects at the end.  Not too gory.  The sex scenes at the end did not seem necessary and was out of place.
