Another fantastically exciting installment of the series!

It was so easy to connect with Nevaeh, because I was her, at one point. I've been the teenager going through chemo, with (Non)Hodgkin's lymphoma and I absolutely related to everything that happened to her within the “past” section of the story. From the lack of will to fight any longer, to the weakness and tiredness, to all the things she'd miss, it just felt easy to know and like her.

When we returned to the “now” part, where they're all alone in this weird and unusual place, I still loved her. She was forged from her experience with cancer, but in a good way – even if she has ended up babying the boys!

The characterisation didn't make my favourites – Hyrum, Cole and Holden – all less exciting to read about. I still want to know all about them, only I'm now adding Loki to my list of curiosities. Oh, and Sebastian with that guyliner. :)

I'm eager to see where this is all leading and hope that Holden and Seyah get vindicated, even if that means an attack by killer robots. Still, can't be worse than killer rabbits, giggle inducing plants and a very-possibly-but-might-not-be sabertooth, can it?
