The Dark Lady: A Romance of the Far Future by Mike Resnick

4.0

Another entertaining Resnick, set in his far future history. A couple of interesting characters, including an alien alien, hunt down the "Dark Lady". She is an immortal, who appears and consorts only with heroic, danger loving men, shortly before their death. Her likeness has been recorded by artists down through the ages.

There is no real resolution in this novel, we don't get a bio of the DL, and the ending is ambiguous, however, as always with Resnick, a seemingly simple story, packed with entertaining detail.
