I think I'm being a bit generous giving this finale 4 stars. I loved this series, but I was very disappointed by the ending. A lot of the political tension was left completely unresolved and I still have a lot of unanswered questions, which is frustrating.

And I can't get over the fact that one of the characters did one of the worst things you can do to a person earlier in this series and there were hardly any consequences. AND the victim of the abuse is just expected to move on from it and accept their abuser as a part of their life.

I'm talking about Cassi cutting Rafe's wings off, of course. Imagine if someone cut your leg off. I don't think you'd be all happy families if your brother fell in love with them.
