Full Tilt by Neal Shusterman

4.0

My favorite book is Neal Shusterman’s Challenger Deep, so I was really excited to read another book by him and I wasn’t disappointed! Full Tilt is a dark and intriguing story about facing your fears, accepting your unique experiences, and forgiving yourself.

Blake and his friends follow his reckless brother, Quinn, to a mysterious amusement park. They quickly discover the rides and the entire park are much more dangerous than they appear. The only way to escape is to survive the rides, which force them to make startling discoveries about each other and themselves.

My favorite thing about this book is Neal Shusterman’s ability to create such vivid worlds that are unique and fantastical yet clearly tied to issues that will be relatable to many readers in the real world.
