Justice League, Volume 5: Forever Heroes by Geoff Johns

These issues, alongside Forever Evil, while poorly named, are excellent stories. This is basically the other guys taking down the enemy structurally. Cyborg fleshed out as a character, we see more of how brutalized the city has become, and the Metal Men are pretty awesome.
