All that are considered as books on Goodreads are considered the same by me hence I have big target know 🤣
.
.
This short story by Mieko Kawakami was something really.
It reminds us of all those people we lost
All those whom we couldn't say goodbye
And
All those whom we refuse to meet even after saying will meet again.
.
Without using the words it showed us love, longing and attachment.
This young boy and young girl named Tutti seem so mature and at the same times had the required amount of childish nature in them
.
Losing one parent is definitely hard for kids
Can't compare it with anything else
And
We can even fathom the depth of their pain.
Many don't come out of it well if the Other parent is not careful.
And many show the signs of pain even after coming out of it.
.
I was also touched by the unnamed relation he shared with Ms. Ice Sandwich without even speaking.
And
Also by his relationship with his Grandma.
How she woke up just to ask him not to cry.
Such is the pain parents feel when the kids are sad.
Again we won't understand until we step in their shoes.
.
And whether to step in those shoes or not is also something Kawakami talks about in her other book
I am gonna read that soon 😁
