this has one of my favorite tropes ever. i did have to spoil

a major plot twist for myself bc the theres two ways it can go and there was no way i was going to be emotionally stable enough for the bad way. i already cried a million times by the time i got halfway through the book

. it was a little cringy at first idk i dont like when books name drop real authors OH BUT ALSO
