oh this was painful and heartbreaking to read ... </3 i completely understand the symbolism and i think it's a super meaningful piece, despite how short it is. i can't rate it as high just because the gross imagery was so uncomfortable to me and gave me sensory issues. it's a good choice to portray the message of the story, but i just felt ill.
