Asterix and the Banquet by René Goscinny

One of Peter's favourite series. I haven't read Asterix before, but I decided to give this a go and see why it's so special to him.

It's silly- mostly slapstick comedy, though the Roman names do have bad puns- but it teaches kids history, geography and culture in a way they may not realise. I can't hate on that.
