Star Wars: Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious by Pablo Hidalgo

4.0

I love Star Wars reference books, but I especially books like these that have the unique prose of being presented as being written by someone within the Galaxy. This book spans the three eras of Star Wars and covers the case files of all the villains in Star Wars as seen through the eyes of three generations of Divos, starting with Tan Divo. I was not a fan of his character in The Clone Wars, but this book does make him a more interesting character. This book has some incredible original art that reminds me a lot of the artwork you might find in an RPG book. This is one for your personal shelf, because it's great to revisit those images. I also love all the tidbits in this book that really give more context to characters not yet fully fleshed out, but also compliments the world building in Star Wars. Honestly, Pablo is the best at this.
